Her family background includes service to the Armed Forces dating back to the American Revolution, and a grandfather who was a POW in Siberia. Currently she has two sons serving in the United States Army for

2006 The Ancient Order of Saint Christopher is the more distinguished of the two levels of the Military Order of Saint Christopher. The Ancient Order is reserved for those few individuals whose careers embody outstanding achievements and accomplishments in the spirit, dignity, and sense of sacrifice and commitment epitomized by Saint Christopher. Service contributed to the success of the Transportation Corps and has performed conspicuous, long-term service for or on behalf of the Transportation Corps (which so singularly distinguishes the individual as a contributor to the Transportation Corps that they have few peers). Order of Saint Christopher required the approval of the Chief of Transportation
2006 Patronus Rotae, "Patron of the Wheel” – Presented by Colonel David Warne Mead, TC Commanding for significant positive impact on the Transportation Corps, a unit or the community and have demonstrated the highest standards of integrity and moral character; selfless dedication and dutiful servant to the Corps of Transportation.

American Flags flown in her Honor during Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom in the following countries: Bosnia, Iraq, Kuwait and Afghanistan
Responsible for the Operation Helping Hands Organization- to assist Humanitarian Efforts in Iraq, and Kendar. Working with various Community groups, they provided over 10,000 school supply bags for children, 500 Teacher packs, and greatly improved the appreciation for Americans by the impoverished people.
Organized a Thank you- Salute to Our Soldiers parade for Brooklyn’s Opening Day Little League Team.
Assisted with Toys for Tots 2005, collecting 400 toys for Children on Staten Island
Organized School educational programs to educate students on Veteran and Soldier issues, and produced thank you for your support programs in NJ and NY.
Within the scope of her 4 year involvement, she has spoken at Support Our Soldier rallies, Ground Zero, 911 Memorial events, Participated in various wounded warrior programs and Walter Reed Projects, American Legion, Veteran of Foreign Wars, Vietnam Veteran organizations, Rolling Thunder Conventions, Armed Forces Day and at the New York City Council. She is a guest speaker for concerns of our Soldiers, Family Members and veterans. She has personally
organized and implemented 23 Deployment Ceremonies and 16 Re-Deployment Ceremonies for the US Army Reserves. She supports various organizations that are supporting deployed soldiers and corresponds with ALL of her deployed Soldiers. Lorrayne was instrumental in bringing back traditions to the GWOT, and published an article on the Blue Star Banner, in 2003, “We honor those who serve”.
From 2003- 2006 Lorrayne worked with various media (print, radio and television) in promoting Support for Our Soldiers. Articles that supported Soldier Support campaigns, “make-overs”, supplies for equipment Soldiers needed, and invoked Support Organizations to carry on missions of support.
Lorrayne encourages youth organizations such as The Girls and Boy Scouts, and schools to actively participate in supporting Soldiers. She organizes unit visiting, “Thank you for Serving-soldiers programs, and countless community service projects such as: packing care packages for our Soldiers , child care at her unit on Staten Island, and helps sponsor and organize community collection drives. She also helps to assist homeless Soldiers and assisted 19 NY Soldiers in obtaining citizenship.
Prior to her devotion the US Army Reserves, Family Readiness Unit, she has 23 years of International Corporate Management to her credit, in the Machine Tool Manufacturing Industry. She was directly responsible for day-to-day operations, including research for new markets in Brazil, Mexico, and Venezuela, responsible for HR, Legal, Finance, Marketing and Sales Management. She was in charge of Trade Shows, organizing class instruction for Computer Numerically Controlled Machinery, and developing and implementing a marketing plan. She was directly responsible for Military Procurements for Military Installations including the FBI and CIA, and all sales orders over 5 million dollars. Lorrayne is accredited to bringing the company into the 21 century, and total computerization of the company. She was responsible for a facility relocation and working with the DOT for a seamless transition to a new facility with little loss time.
While contracted for 3 years at a Chemical Engineering Company she was directly responsible for the success of the Chief of Engineering from Germany, and implemented Quality Management and Communications procedures of 72 Engineers. While employed at this company she was appointed “Emergency Task Operations Director” and developed, implemented and engaged a 6 hour emergency team that wasdispatched to 12 locations within the United States, as a result of one disaster in Ohio. She worked with EPA, and Federal Agencies to implement a safety plan for Explosives at chemical paint and coatings facilities. Prior to the end of her contact she worked with the implementation and relocation of three chemical plants move to Mt Olive NJ.
While contracted for one year to work for a law firm, she was the Director of Operations. She was directly responsible to three counties who assigned “award of the State” cases to the law firm, managing care for the incompetent, oversaw estates, and removal of personal properties. She was assigned to the State of NJ DOT, NJ Transit, and Department of Motor Vehicle to “crack down” and assist prosecuting fraudulent claims to bus operators, and worked with the Bus Companies to install cameras on buses to avoid continued fraudulent claims.
As a devoted mother to her 3 children she served a three year term as Home and School President and implemented procedures for fund raising, and developed an action plan for allocation of funds to the school, students and children, increasing the income to the Home and School association from 4,000.00 in her first year to 22,000. She taught religious education for 10 years, a Girl Scout Leader for 4, coached boys 5th Division soccer for 3 years and served on the Traveling Soccer Association Board. She is a member of her townships Emergency Response Team and served with the American Red Cross in setting up safe heavens in 2 states of emergencies in her Home town. She is the New Jersey National Guard Family Readiness Leader, Riverdale, NJ and the Family Readiness Leader for the Movement Control Battalion, Staten Island NY.
